LeRoy ~ Thelma D. Falcone, age 84, of Platt Avenue, died Sunday morning (August 12, 2012) at the Genesee County Nursing Home. Mrs. Falcone was born July 27, 1928 in Caledonia, a daughter of the late William and Cordelia Crow MacDonald. Mrs. Falcone will be remembered as a very warm and loving person, who was truly dedicated to her family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Duffy S. Falcone, her daughters; Joanne Sallah of Jacksonville, FL and Gloria (Joseph) Avino of Batavia, a sister, Ann Dillon of Fowlerville, sister-in-law, Joanne Falcone of LeRoy, daughter-in-law, Rebel Falcone of St. Louis., 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William Joseph Falcone and siblings, Clifford, Herman, Bruce, Reginald and Bill MacDonald and Betty Garland. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 ~ 7 PM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Joseph’s Oratory Site, 27 Lake Street, LeRoy, where her Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
