Obituary of Steven H. Carmichael

LeRoy ~ Steven H. "Herbie" Carmichael, age 66, of Genesee Street, passed away at home on Friday, February 24, 2017. He was born December 13, 1950 in Batavia, a son of the late John and Mary Willis Carmichael. Herbie loved to spend time and visit with his family and friends whenever he could. He also enjoyed listening to many types of music. He came from a generation of family electricians and many people in the LeRoy area were familiar with his work. He also worked at Coopervision and Aramatic Coffee & Vending. He is survived by his daughter, Sophie (Dolan) Matla of IL; his grandson, Henry; his siblings, David (Sue) Carmichael of LeRoy, Susan Sheflin of Fairport, Gail Carmichael of Brooklyn, Jeff (Sue) Carmichael of NB and Jamie (Maryann) Carmichael of PA, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 3 ~ 5 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), where memories will be shared at 5:00 PM.
