LeRoy ~ Thomas L. Butzbach, age 83, of East Main Road, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017. He was born June 17, 1933 in Buffalo, a son of the late Albert and Bessie Butzbach. Tom will be remembered as a very caring, loving and devoted family man. He was proud to have been an Eagle Scout, as well as being able to serve his country with the U.S. Army. He was an avid golfer and a retiree of Graham Manufacturing in Batavia, where he was a very respected engineer with 40 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years, Renate Barke Butzbach; his children, Thomas (Terri) Butzbach of Rochester, Timothy (Tina) Butzbach of Houston, TX and Debra (John) Hochmuth of Varysburg; grandchildren, David, Sara, Courtney, Jennifer and John; sisters, Ellen Sykes of Buffalo and Marilyn Bryan of Andover; brother-in-law, Sigfried (Judy) Barke of N. Tonawanda, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Marge Belling. Family and friends are invited to attend Tom’s Memorial Service on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 A.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. At the conclusion, the family will receive friends at the LeRoy Country Club, where light refreshments will be served and memories may be shared.
