Condolences to Larry's family at his untimely passing. My father Walter Dyer and Larry were friends when dad lived in Rockland and was the fire chief and then later when dad worked a head of security at the Farnsworth Museum next to the Newberry's store that Larry managed in Rockland. Dad has always spoken highly of Larry and his generosity. Larry one time donated all of the store's remaining shoe stock to a charity that the fire fighters had for the needy in Rockland and later he helped my father catalog and organize a large donations of record albums that the local radio station made for dad to auction off to benefit the city ambulance fund. Larry was an all around good guy. Respectfully. Ronald Dyer for Walter Dyer and myself.

To say that Uncle Larry was one of a kind would be an understatement. I have fond memories of trips to Maine and visiting every Goodwill and Salvation Army store in a two hour radius. He would make a beeline to the shoe section, leaving with a "new" pair of shoes or another treasure for the home that he loved. We always had good laughs and his generosity in opening his home was beyond compare. He was a great man with a heart of gold. Mary Frances Griffiths

I AM VERY SADDENED TO HEAR THAT MY UNCLE LARRY HAS PASSED AWAY. UNCLE LARRY WAS A GREAT PERSON OF GREAT INTEGRITY AND OF GREAT FAITH. I WILL MISS HIS GREAT LETTERS I RECEIVED EVERY CHRISTMAS. Aunt Ruth, Uncles Al and Andy, Karen and I were very saddened to learn of the loss of Uncle Larry. He was always a very kind and generous person to our family and will be deeply missed.
