Batavia ~ Jerald A. Shuler, age 79, of Crystal Lane, passed away Tuesday afternoon (June 27, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
     Mr. Shuler was born October 23, 1937 in Batavia, a son of the late Clinton and Mildred Chamberlain Shuler.
     Jerry retired as a distribution manager for Curtice Burns after over 45 years of service.  He was an avid golfer and a lifetime member of the Batavia Country Club.  He also enjoyed playing cards, especially Pitch.
     He is survived by his children, Jerald Shuler Jr. (Cheryl Carey) of Batavia, Antonia (Eric) Richenberg of Byron, Scott (Tara) Shuler of Batavia and Mark (Cheryl) Shuler of Bergen; his step-children, Timothy (Debra Demarest) Beaumont of LeRoy and Tamera Beaumont of LeRoy; grandchildren, Jerry Shuler III, Todd (Rachael) Richenberg, Kiersten Richenberg, Karson Richenberg, Anthony Shuler, Trenton Shuler, Andrea Shuler, Joseph (Jennifer) Summers and Rachael (Peter) Wrue, along with many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, MaryAnn Shuler and his sister, Marlene Jensen.    
     There are no prior calling hours.  Family and friends are invited to his graveside service on Monday, July 3 at 11:00 AM in Machpelah Cemetery, LeRoy, NY.
