Obituary of Kenneth B. Sovocool

Batavia ~ Kenneth B. Sovocool, age 51, of Liberty Street, passed away on July 17, 2017 at the Erie County Medical Center.
     He was born September 9, 1965 in Batavia, a son of Mary Anne Cranston Sovocool and the late Wilbur J. Sovocool.
     Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, who enjoyed woodworking, sky diving, snowmobiling, and had a special love for his cats.
     In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kathryn Becker Sovocool; his sons, Mat (Brittany) Sovocool of Batavia, Kyle Sovocool of FL and Zach Sovocool of Batavia; his stepsons, Bryan Bartholomew of Batavia and Daniel Bartholomew of Niagara Falls; 2 grandsons; his siblings, Robert (Judy) Sovocool of LeRoy, Sharon (Gary) Harris of MN, John (Jeanie) Sovocool of Richfield Springs, Wayne (Joan) Sovocool of AL, Daniel (Bernie) Sovocool of CO, Charles (Suzanne) Sovocool of Fairport and Kathleen (Bob) DelPlato of Richfield Springs, along with many nieces and nephews.
     He was also predeceased by his sister, Patricia Sovocool.
     There will be no prior calling hours or services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
     Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
