LeRoy ~ Joseph Crnkovich, age 87, passed away early Sunday morning (October 15, 2017) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.
He was born June 19, 1930 in Batavia, a son of the late Frank and Anna Lubonavich Crnkovich.

Joe was proud to be a lifelong LeRoyan.  He loved LeRoy High School football, where he was a standout tight end.  He was also their greatest fan, attending games for over 70 years.  He was a strong, hard working man, who loved and was very proud of his family, helpful to any and all, wanting nothing in return.
He was a lover of the outdoors and a longtime member of the Oatka Fish and Game Club.  He enjoyed cooking at the club, fishing, hunting, golfing and his daily walks around the village.  He was also a longtime employee of Lapp Insulator Co. in LeRoy.
