Obituary of William L. Radley

Stafford ~ William L. Radley, age 84, of Transit Road, passed away Tuesday afternoon (January 16, 2018) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     He was born March 7, 1933 in Stafford, a son of the late Fredrick and Margaret Nearpass Radley.

     Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed camping with his family.  He  was an avid hunter and enjoyed woodworking, but his true passion was firefighting.  He was a devoted firefighter for over 50 years with the Stafford Fire Department, where he served in various positions, including fire chief.  He will be sorely missed by his brother and sister firefighters and his community.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Beatrice Cripps Radley; his children, William Radley Jr. of Leicester, Gerald Radley of Imperial Beach, CA, Carl Radley and Karen Bombara, both of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Jaye Lynn Bombara, Elizabeth Radley, Maxwell Radley and William Radley; his brothers, Charles (Loretta) Radley of Sebring, FL and Francis Radley of E. Bethany, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.  He was predeceased by his sister in law, Ann Radley and a nephew, Greg Radley.

     Family and friends may call on Monday from 3 ~ 6 P.M.  at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where a brief prayer service will be held at 6:00 P.M.
