Obituary of Arthur Arnold

LeRoy ~ Arthur D. Arnold, age 82, of Garden Lane, passed away Friday evening (January 26, 2018) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.

     He was born June 26, 1935 in Staten Island, N.Y., a son of the late Arthur and Ethel Sindlinger Arnold.

     Mr. Arnold was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing and loved classical music and history, especially World War II.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Odbjorg Gjertsen Arnold; his daughters, Sonja (Ron) Johnson and Anne (Christopher) Tainer; grandchildren, Brianna Fearon, Jonathan Tainer, Marit Tainer and Helena Tainer; brother, Ramsey Arnold and a niece, Mindy (Timothy) Pool.

     Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
