Obituary of Roger L. Cosimeno Sr.

LeRoy ~ Roger L. Cosimeno Sr., age 66, of Myrtle Street, passed away Tuesday evening (February 20, 2018) at Rochester General Hospital in the loving presence of his family.

     He was born June 30, 1951 in Rome, N.Y., a son of the late William and Margaret Cosimeno Fountain.

     Roger will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who cherished time spent with his family.  He was also a proud Vietnam Veteran, having served with the U.S. Marine Corp.

     He is survived by his wife, Nancy Fohl Cosimeno; his children, Paul Fields (Toni Weber) of Batavia, Roger Cosimeno Jr. (Sherry Chestnut-Demmer) of LeRoy, Kelly (Kurt) Wilson of Warsaw, Michael Cosimeno (Trisha Mathern) of NC, Andrew Cosimeno of LeRoy, Joseph (Rachel) Cosimeno of Batavia, Jeremy (Katie) Cosimeno of Batavia, Kristi (Brian) DeFazio of Lakeville and Kory (Jessica) Cosimeno of LeRoy; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; two sisters, his canine companions, Baby and Little Boy, along with many nieces and nephews. 

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Rosemary and 5 siblings.

     Family and friends may call on Saturday from 1 ~ 4 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where his Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M.
