Obituary of Kermit C. Roth Jr.

LeRoy ~ Kermit C. Roth Jr., age 79, of East Avenue, passed away Monday evening (March 26, 2018) at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

     He was born April 25, 1938 in Batavia, a son of the late Kermit and Elsie Cummings Roth.

     Kermit was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who enjoyed following his son's and grandson's sporting events.  He also enjoyed playing golf, taking trips to the casino, working in his yard and watching his favorite teams, the Buffalo Bills and N.Y. Yankees.  Kermit was a veteran of the US Army and a mason.

     He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Patricia Bennetti Roth; his son, Steven (Julie) Roth of Victor; grandsons, Kyler and Jaxen; siblings, Joan (Richard) Newcomb of Port Charlotte, FL, Gary (Lynn Croft) Roth of Sodus and Jerry (Nancy) Roth of Gates, special aunt, Virginia Bennetti of LeRoy, very dear friend, Kathleen "Pudge" Steen, beloved cat, Sammy, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette (Darwin) Macomber and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond (Beverly) Bennetti.

     Family and friends may call on Monday from 3 ~ 6 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where services will be held at 6:00 P.M.  Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be private.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Wilmot Cancer Institute or LeRoy Ambulance Service.
