Bergen ~ Florence S. Miller, age 88, passed away early Wednesday morning (June 27, 2018) at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

     She was born July 18, 1929 in Akron, NY, a daughter of the late Dale and Grace Lyday Stafford.

     Florence will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, working in her yard and was involved in her community.  She was a bank teller for many years at M & T bank in Perry, before joining her husband's business, Miller's Feed & Grain, as a bookkeeper.  She was also a longtime member of Stone Church Presbyterian Church in Bergen.

     She is survived by her children, Bruce (Debra) Miller of GA, Cynthia (Harold) Wright of Perry, Marcia (Gerald) Bell of Perry and Carol ( Darrell) Boughner of TX; daughter-in-law, Karen Miller of FL; grandchildren, Stephanie Chapman, Matthew (Cassi) Miller, Kelly (Matthew) Erjavec, Eric Wright, Sara (Mark) Eberstein, Mallory (Thomas) Lauffer, Jacob (Courtney) Bell, Alyssa (Michael) Kaminsky and Taylor Boughner; 6 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and special friends.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Norman L. Miller in 1983, her son, Brian Miller in 2016 and five siblings.

     Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stone Church Presbyterian Church, 7549 Lake Rd., P.O. Box 128, Bergen, NY 14416.
