Obituary of Thomas N. Hassett

LeRoy ~ Thomas N. Hassett, age 90, of Platt Avenue, passed away Friday morning (July 20, 2018) in the loving presence of his family.
He was born June 10, 1928 in Rochester, a son of the late Thomas M. and Mary Fisher Hassett.
Tom was a very loving and caring person, who was devoted to his family and his faith. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish, a 25 gallon blood donor over his lifetime and an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Stefani; his children, Valerie (Wayne) Blaisdell of Scottsville, Christine (Douglas) Frew of NC and Neil (Elisa) Hassett of CA; step children, Marcia (Timothy) McMullen of Castile, Mark (Rita) McKeon of Rochester, John (Kathy) McKeon III of NC, Patricia Iamon of Byron, Robert (Tammy) Stefani Jr. of LeRoy, Deborah (Larry) Reeves of MN, Laura (Douglas) Platt of Byron and Allen (Cindy) Stefani of LeRoy; siblings, Gerald (Sharon) Hassett of Rochester, Robert (Patricia) Hassett of Caledonia and Marie (Robert) Sickles of FL; sisters-in-law, Joyce Hassett of CA and Carol Ann Hassett of Rochester; special nephew, Glenn (Deborah) Sickles of Scottsville; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by his wives, Carol Hassett and Eleanor Hassett and brothers, Paul Hassett and Edward Hassett.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 ~ 7 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. His Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, with interment to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
