Obituary of Steven F. Flansburg

Stafford ~ Steven F. Flansburg, age 57, of Fargo Road, formerly of LeRoy, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, January 3, 2019.

     He was born November 19, 1961 in Rochester, N.Y., a son of the late Frederick and Marjorie Martell Flansburg.

     Steve will be remembered as a free-spirited person, who loved his family whole heartedly.  He enjoyed gardening and collecting various items.

     He is survived by his sons, Elijah and Zachary Flansburg and their mother, Tracy Flansburg; stepsons, Jonathan and Justin Emasie; sisters, Cindy (Ron) Piazza, Lori (Jon) Herron and Lisa (Steve) Wehner; aunt, Georgia Flansburg; uncles, Phillip Martell and Roy Schroeder, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog, Blizzy.

     In addition to his parents, Frederick and Marjorie, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Phillip and Grace Martell; paternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Flansburg; aunts and uncles, Ann and Lauren Blood, Ted Flansburg, Joan and Jim Mastin and Dorothy Martell; cousins, Mikey Schroeder and Mary Vasquez and honorary grandmother, Shirley Richardson.

     Steve will be laid to rest with his parents with a private graveside service.
