Obituary of Pamela J. Chamness

LeRoy ~ Pamela J. Chamness, age 72, passed away at home in the loving presence of her family on Sunday, June 30, 2019.

     She was born September 13, 1946 in Mobile, AL, daughter of the late Byron DeLos and Mary Readout Chamness.

     Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who adored her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing cards and scrabble and was a former church member and choir member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in N. Tonawanda.

     She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Thomas M. Beiter; her brother, Corey (Patti) Chamness; her children, Jenevieve (Jason) Heaney, Kathryn Stepanik (Sheri Wilson), Christina (Guy) Schwindler, Thomas Beiter (Matt Cappell) and Lisa (Shawn) Haley; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

     Family and friends are invited to attend Pamela's Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, August 3 at 11:00  AM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 61 Payne Avenue, N. Tonawanda, N.Y.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to HomeCare & Hospice of WNY, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Breast Cancer Network of WNY.
