Obituary of Rachel D. Klinkbeil

LeRoy ~ Rachel D. Klinkbeil, age 88, of West Main Street, passed away Monday evening (Sept. 23, 2019) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home in the loving presence of her family.

     She was born January 4, 1931 in New York City, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Drayo.

     Rachel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend.  She was a secretary for many years with the LeRoy Central School District.  She, along with her best friend and husband, William, delivered Meals on Wheels and were greeters at St. Peter's Church.  Rachel loved her family dearly and she and William were constantly at each other's side.

     She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, William R. Klinkbeil; her sons, Kevin (Barbara) Klinkbeil of Brighton and Kristopher (Catherine) Klinkbeil of Charlotte; grandchildren, Kristopher Klinkbeil, Sara Klinkbeil, Jennette Drmacich (Ishvan Hajdu) and Jessika (Daniel) Drmacich-Flach; great-grandchildren, Sophie Hajdu, William Hajdu and Oona Drmacich-Flach; sister, Ursula (late Donald) Spillane of LeRoy; nieces, Shannon (Thomas Welsh) Spillane and Shawn (Joseph) Siconolfi, nephew, Mick Spillane (Johanna); special cousins, Vicki (David) Clark, along with many dear friends.  Rachel was predeceased by a special aunt, Andy Frank.

     Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 ~ 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy.  Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
