Obituary of Robert F. Mills

LeRoy ~ Robert F. "Bob" Mills, age 82, of Linwood Road, passed away Sunday morning (Oct. 6, 2019) at Crossroads House in the loving presence of his family.

     He was born July 11, 1937 in Batavia, a son of the late Francis and Fern Harvie Mills.

     Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who loved spending time with his family, especially his great-granddaughters.  He enjoyed playing cards and golf, and was a member of the Sons of the Legion.

     He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Donna Anchor Mills; his daughter, Susan (Timothy) McQuillen of Byron; grandchildren, Brandon (Renee) Mills, Richard (Liz) Mills Jr., Justin McQuillen and Ashley (James) Liles; 6 great-granddaughters; 3 step-great-grandsons; siblings, Edward (Diane) Mills, Marian Robertson and Donna (Joe) O'Geen, all of LeRoy, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     Bob was predeceased by his son, Richard F. Mills, sister, Joan Eppolito, sister and brother-in-law, Noma (Joseph) LoCastro, niece, Fran LoCastro and brother-in-law, Donald Robertson.

     Family and friends may call on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 2 ~ 4 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd., LeRoy, where Bob's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M.  Interment in Machpelah Cemetery will be private.

     The courtesy of no flowers is requested with memorials suggested to either Crossroads House or the LeRoy American Legion.
