Obituary of Donald R. Crawford

LeRoy ~ Donald R. Crawford, age 84, of East Main Road, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Friday, (February 14, 2020). He was born December 3, 1935 in Warsaw, N.Y., a son of the late Harold and Winifred Dietsch Crawford. Don will be remembered as a man of little words at times, who loved his family unconditionally. He enjoyed camping, attending stock car races and was passionate about working on and restoring his tractors in his later years. He is survived by his children, Donald J. (Paulette) Crawford of Fairport, Shelly (Daniel) Leone of LeRoy, Deborah L. (Brian) Brodie of Hamburg and Krista R. Lewis of Bergen; grandchildren, Cassandra Vangellow, Deanna Gill, Mackenzie Leone, Ashley Brodie, Garrett Brodie, Kyle Lewis, Brandon Lewis, Gavin Lewis and Ethan Lewis; great-grandchildren, Madison Bonnes , Ronan Rose Blasdell, Olivia Gill and Emily Gill; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann (John) Cichelli of Retsof, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, RoseMarie Antinore Crawford in 2019 and two sisters. Family and friends may call on Saturday, February 29 from 1 ~ 4 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where his Memorial Prayer Service will be held immediately following the calling hours. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be private.
