Friday, May 8, 2020I was so sorry to hear of Anita's death. I so enjoyed talking with her when we were boarding dogs for her and Bill. She would tell about an upcoming trip to their home in St. John, and I could tell she was so looking forward to being there. She was easy to talk to and made me feel like I was doing a good job in taking care of her pet. May the memories you have of her bring you comfort, peace and smiles as you remember her in your lives. Thursday, May 7, 2020Sally, Bill, Ellen and family-- I was sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was such an inspiration-- I loved how she was independent, capable, ambitious and smart. I enjoyed visiting with her in St. John-- either at her house or at ours (Frick House). She was a delight to listen to, always had something interesting to add to the conversation. The last time I saw her, she was in her early 90s-- prior to the hurricane-- and she walked from her house (using a walking stick) to ours unassisted. Earlier in the week she had taken the bus to town. I was amazed at how capable she was so late in life. I admired her ability to study and succeed in the science field. She loved her family and the farm. What an amazing woman! Jennifer Raymond (Randy and Anne Frick's daughter)
