Obituary of Werner Raisch

LeRoy ~ Werner Raisch, age 81, of Black Street Road, passed away Monday afternoon

(January 4, 2021) at Unity Hospital.

     He was born February 27, 1939 in Crailsheim, Germany, a son of the late Georg and Rosine Zorrer Raisch.

     Werner, who came to the United States at age 18, was a loving and hardworking man.  He cherished time spent with family and friends and enjoyed watching stock car racing.

     He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Rosine (Doug) Gray; step-daughter, Vanessa (Jim) Andrews; granddaughter, Hanna Gray; step-grandchildren, Shane Andrews, Nicholas Andrews, Michelle Andrews and Jaime Andrews, along with many nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Martha Coniber Raisch and his siblings, Ruth Sprenger, Siegfried Raisch and Fritz Raisch.

     Family and friends may call on Friday, Jan. 8 from 3 ~ 6 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. (Funeral home occupancy will be limited to 33% capacity during the course of visitation and face masks are required.) He will be laid to rest with Martha in the East Bethany Rural Cemetery on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 11:00 A.M.
