Pavilion ~ Mary S. Strobel, age 92, of Lake Street, passed away Monday morning (November 1, 2021) at home in the loving presence of her family.

     She was born January 11, 1929 in Crogan, N.Y., a daughter of the late Royal and Nina Cratsenberg Smith.

     Mary will be remembered as a loving and proud wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, who enjoyed knitting and crocheting gifts for her family, especially for all of her grandchildren.  She also assisted her husband, Al, with the family business, Strobel's Auto Electric.

     She will be sadly missed by her children, Sharon Grube of FL, Bruce (Mary) Strobel of Tonawanda, Nancy (James) Morthope of GA, Larry Strobel of LeRoy, Deborah (Don) Cahail of MO and Joan (Andrew) Stevens of Mt. Morris; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Rev. Herbert R. Strobel of PA; Fresh Air Fund Daughter, Debbie Farr, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     Mary was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of almost 70 years, Albert;  brother-in-law, Ralph W. "Billy" Strobel and sister-in-law, Marge Strobel.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 4 from 11 AM ~ 1 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Pavilion.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either the Pavilion Fire Department or the Pavilion United Methodist Church.
