Obituary of Ann C. Ehrhart

LeRoy ~ Ann C. Ehrhart, age 81, of Hilltop Drive, passed away at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

     She was born May 31, 1940 in Coudersport, PA, a daughter of the late Alvin and Helen Brown Thompson.

     Ann will be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her family, her faith and her community.  She had an extensive teaching career at LeRoy Central High School, teaching Latin and became known as the “magistra”.  Ann enjoyed baking, was a voracious reader and loved meeting up with her friends at McDonalds for coffee hour.

     She will be sadly missed by her husband, David Ehrhart Sr.; her children, Colleen (Michael) Antonio, Christine (William) Perrin and Timothy (Erika) Looney; step-children, David Ehrhart Jr., Douglas (Jackie) Ehrhart, Dale (Dawn) Ehrhart and Deborah Ehrhart; sister, Mary (Tom) Juerm; sister-in-law, Christine Thompson, along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, dear friends and her loving and devoted feline companions, Lokie and Franklin.

     In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her brother, Michael Thompson and granddaughter, Cassandra Perrin.

     Family and friends are invited to attend Ann's Rite of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.  Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be private.
