Obituary of Zoe Ann Thompson

Zoe Ann (Crocker) Thompson passed peacefully in St. Petersburg, FL on Sunday, December 19, 2021. 

     Zoe was born on May 2, 1942 in LeRoy, NY to Harriet Eliza (Hamilton) Crocker and Clarence Boyd Crocker. 

     Zoe married Thomas William Thompson on July 25, 1966 and together they raised two children. Aimee Elizabeth and Burke Edward.  Zoe and Tom followed their dream and moved the family to Florida in the 1970’s and settled in St. Petersburg.  After Tom passed away, Zoe worked for many years at Beall’s in south St. Petersburg.  It was her favorite store until the very end.

     Zoe was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her father, Clarence in 1964 and her mother, Harriet in 1978, her brothers, Judd and Jim Crocker of LeRoy, NY and her sister, Suzanne (Crocker) Kolmetz of Bergen, NY. 

     She is survived by her daughter, Aimee (Thompson) Siulte and husband, Vytas of Dallas, TX; her son, Burke and wife, Trinh Thompson of Greensboro, NC, her grandson, Grayson and her brother, Louis Crocker of LeRoy, NY, along with many nieces and nephews.

    Graveside services for Zoe and Tom will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 11:00 AM at Machpelah Cemetery, 71 North St., LeRoy. 

     In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any animal rescue organization close to your heart. Zoe loved her cats above all and that would be her wish.
