Palm Harbor, FL ~ Nancy Merica-Keil, age 64, formerly of LeRoy, N.Y., passed away on January 3, 2022 at the North Pinellas Care Center in Palm Harbor, FL after a lengthy illness.

     She was born October 8, 1957 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Orpha Ferrara Merica.

     Nancy will be remembered as a loving wife, foster mother, sister, aunt and dear friend.  Her caring ways and devotion to families made her career as a social worker very rewarding to her.  She, along with her husband, Donnie, were foster parents to many children over the years as well.

     She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, Donnie Keil; her sister, Joanne (Donald Jr.) Pangrazio; brother-in-law, Ken John, along with many nieces, nephews, dear friends and past foster children.

     In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her sisters, Karen John and Mary Anne White.

     Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 16 from 2 ~ 5 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 17 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. (Facemasks are required to be worn for Nancy's visitation and mass)
