Pam was my cousin. My mother and her mother were sisters. But my parents moved to Texas when we were still children, so we didn’t see much of each other after that, except for infrequent visits. We used to talk on the phone once or twice a year in later years. A few years ago she made me a beautiful white prayer shawl. I absolutely love it. I didn’t hear of her death until today when I tried to call her and it couldn’t be completed. I tried to send her an email and it was declined. I knew Pam would never decline an email. My daughter suggested I check the obituaries. I am shocked and broken hearted to hear of her death. I will miss our phone conversations they were always so special. But, we will meet again in Heaven no longer separated by miles.
