John L. Caccamise, 70, of LeRoy passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Leslie A. and Barbara Caccamise; and brother- in-law, Kenneth White, John is survived by his wife Bonnie; children, Jennifer (Rob) McCart, of Mt. Morris and John Caccamise (Jenna Stoll), of Holley; grandchildren Joey, Charlie, Danny, Cory, and Caitlyn; siblings Linda White, Donna (Tom) Schunk, Leslie (Jerry Burch) Caccamise, Michael Caccamise, and Jason (Cindy) Caccamise; many nieces and nephews, and special friends.

A lifelong resident of LeRoy, John lived a simple and honest life. He loved and enjoyed all things nature. He was an avid outdoorsman and handyman, always working on projects. John even built his family home and several family cabin retreats. Early in his career, John worked for Crocker’s Farm Service. Following his passion, he eventually became owner and operator of his own small business for many years.

At John’s request, there will be no prior calling hours. A funeral mass for John will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy. A private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family. John will be laid to rest in Stafford Cemetery.
