Regina P. Steen Obituary
LeRoy ~ Regina (Van Alst) Steen, age 94, passed peacefully on November 16, 2022.
She was born September 18, 1928 to the late Bertha (Criger) (Van Alst) Morrison and Harry Van Alst. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Pete Steen.
Regina was a 1946 graduate of LeRoy High School. She taught kids to swim at Red Bridge and Horseshoe Lake, worked at Lapp Insulator in the payroll department for ten years and the local school cafeteria for fourteen years.
She loved her family, swimming, the Adirondack camp and car races.
Regina is survived by daughters Barbara Steen, Nancy (Mike) Glover, Dorothy (Ed) Schramm; special granddaughter Ali (John) Dawson; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Pete, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Jane (Fred) Grasby, Rita (George) Carmichael, Dorothy (Abe) Machols and step-father, Ellsworth Mike Morrison.
At Regina’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
