Many years ago I was honored to work with both John and Kerry at the Eastman Kodak Company. I knew them both very well during those years even though I worked with each of them in different buildings and at different times during my career. Indeed when Kerry Left Kodak her office was right across from mine. Even in those early years, as John was striving to become that gifted teacher of children, he gave his all to his Kodak colleagues every single day. In over 30 years at Kodak I can think of no two finer individuals I worked with. Kerry, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at your loss.

It is an absolute honor to call John Driscoll a colleague and close friend. I truly believe that he was a real-life Angel living amongst us on Earth all these years. He not only taught us how to live each day with love and grace in our hearts, but to also die that way. John made the world a better place just by being in it. He will forever be greatly loved and deeply missed.
All of our love and deepest condolences to Kerry, Alanna, Ryan and the entire Driscoll Family from the Spink & Spoto Families.

Kerry and the entire Driscoll family- I'm in disbelief
of what has happened with John, just before his birthday.
I am so very sorry and devastated knowing the heartache you must be experiencing at this time. This is an example of losing great people so early
in life. Why? We lost Patty and now John, Mom
must be beside herself. You know I loved Patty so much and then I got the chance to meet you and John both. He was so curious, sweet, funny, etc...
nobody else was like him. I've been blessed with knowing the family for a while and I love you all.
My Deepest Condolences to all, Sandy Caruso

Q: What will you never forget about John?
A: We will always cherish the great memories of going on camping vacations with the Driscoll family. So many fun times growing up with trips and weekend parties! I remember the time all of us kids were in the tent sleeping and a huge wind storm came and blew down the tent on all of us...we crammed into your parents pop up camper... laughing and glad to be together... We love you John and are blessed to have been friends with you and your family...You have run this race well...God bless you in heaven and be with your precious family still here on earth."My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand...." (John 10:27,28) You have touched many lives with your kindness, love and fun-loving personality....thank you for being you! Rest in peace...free from pain and suffering and enjoy your new eternal home!

What a sad time for the entire community at the passing of this very loving and caring man. I taught John in my English class a very long time ago and worked with him as a colleague when he came to teaching later in life. He was an example of good will and caring and faith to us all. I never saw him without a smile. Even when he would come to me with a union question at school he was always smiling. As a student I was impressed by his drive and energy. As a teacher he had a dedication and outlook that inspired all of those around him. And no one could question his courage which he showed clearly to all the last days of his life. The lives of those he touched are better for having known him. There is no greater tribute to any person than that.

Mr.Driscoll was my son’s favorite teacher. I can never express my gratitude enough that he save my child’s life when he choked on a life saver while in class. I was heartbroken to learn of his passing and God definitely gained an angel in Mr. Driscoll. My thoughts and prayers to all his famil, friends and students/former students.

Mr.Driscoll, He was my 4th grade teacher and also my favorite teacher. I remember him always talking about his favorite thing to do, riding his bike. Another few things that made him a great man and teacher were that he would always hand out starburst all the time, and would always keep calm in a hard time like when he saved one of my best friends life by giving him the Heimlich maneuver to get a life saver out of my friends throat. He was always very happy and helpful with homework and with school work. Mr. Driscoll I hope you are doing ok up there, I know you will be missed.
-Dominic Smith.
