Obituary of Harold Ray Scoggins

LeRoy ~ Harold “Ray” Scoggins, age 50, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at home.

     He was born December 6, 1972 in Wilmington, N.C.  Harold is the son of Judith Scoggins and the late Norman Ray Scoggins.

     Harold loved his family, fishing and his motorcycle.  He loved long country rides with his family.  Ray also loved his 3 rescue cats, Izzy, Toes and Midnight.

     Ray is survived by his mother, Judith Scoggins of LeRoy; his fiancée, Pawnee McCrea of LeRoy; two sisters, Essie (Terry) Hall of N.C., Terri (Jacob) Seal of N.C.; brother, Billy Scoggins of N.C.; three children, Jessica, Anthony and Cody Scoggins of N.C., along with many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his fianceé’s children, Ryan McCaslin, Breasia McCrea, David Crane; grandchildren, Elliot Crane, Avery Crane and Ariella Crane, all of LeRoy; his fiancée’s mother, Patricia Johns and brother, James Mead of Fillmore, along with several aunts and uncles.

     Ray was predeceased by his sister, Michelle Coston.

     A Memorial Service for Ray will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 11:00 AM at the Portageville Baptist Church, 6668 Pike Street, Portageville, N.Y.  14536.
