I live in Florida now, but always think about Jack. I wanted to call him so I was looking up his number and found out he is no longer with us. I loved Jack, I had so much respect for him, and loved our walks around the track at Hartwood Park. Jack and my father were best friends. My Dad and Mom traveled to so many harness tracks where Jack was working. I used to love him coming over as a kid, and he and my Dad would talk about horse racing and I loved joining in on the conversation. Even when I was older I loved when he came over to visit with my Dad and Mom, and when my Dad passed away, he came over to visit my Mom. Jack was a great guy, everybody liked him, and I know he is still missed. Rest in Peace Jack, I'm sure you and my Dad are up in heaven still talking about horses. I will be up in Heaven someday, and I can't wait to see you again. Thoughts and prayers go out to all his family.

Fay girls--I'm sorry to read of Jack's passing. My dad and son so enjoyed him. He was one of the regulars down at Stella's for coffee and probably lots of B.S. (ha, ha). These passings seem to really mark the end of our childhoods in a way. Luckily for us, we had great parents and a great community. Wishing you all peace and consolation. He'll be missed but great memories will remain with you for the rest of your lives. Mary Beth (Conlon) Winter

I enjoyed, so much, seeing Jack at the Senior Luncheons. We would always have to chat a bit. He was such a dear person! I am thankful for the blessing of seeing his wave and smile "one more time" back at our first senior luncheon since the start of Covid. He was surrounded by his daughters and grands. I said, "Well look at you!" He put his arms out smiling and said, "It doesn't get any better than this." I am so glad for this memory!
My deepest sympathy to his family, especially, for "my boys" and their mother.
